    Hello all!
New tacoma owner, and since switching from my Ram 1500 to my 2021 Tacoma SR5, i feel like my vision is impaired. Im constantly having to squish down to see street lights or lean all the way down when looking for addresses on the right side.

I cant lower my seat any more, and tried flipping the rear view mirror, but i dont have room to be able to actually use it when its flipped.

Any suggestions? the amount of blind spots in front of me is giving me anxiety.

    Thanks

Honestly, you went from a full size 1500 to a Tacoma. It's going to be an adjustment. Also, the Tacoma line is known for having higher floors to increase clearance. This results in less headroom and a higher overall seating position. The problem is even worse if you're over 6'

I have problems when coming to a 4-way stop and the perpendicular street is at an angle other than 90. my mirror / A pillar blocks the view, and i completely don't see the car on the street on the right. I have to physically move my neck down in those situations to check. Assume you've tried to adjust the mirror up as much as possible.

I felt the same way coming from a wrangler. The mirror itself can actually be moved up quite a bit as it has a second hinge where it mounts to the windshield that allows it to be moved vertically. I also flipped mine and feel the visibility is much better than before

I feel like it's like this with many newer cars. Currently I have a 2006 Frontier (my Pro should be here within a few weeks) and my dad has the 2022 Frontier and brother has a 3rd gen TRD Sport.

On the 2006 Frontier the hood slopes down, the A pillars are a bit thinner, no safety sensors on the windshield, and the windshield is a bit larger. All this gives an outstanding front visibility. My mom who gets car sick easily, feels comfortable sitting in the front seat on this car. But she gets car sick in my dads 22 Frontier. I figured it's due to the reduced visibility.

The 22 Frontier and 3rd Gen. Taco's do appear to have thicker A pillar and reduced windshield sizes. Not to mention hood appears to be a bit raised (even without Hood scoop).

That said, I do have a 22' Supra, so i'm used to limited visibility.

That's one of the main reasons I didn't buy another Tacoma. My 2nd gen Frontier has really great visibility.
