How to get the fuse cover off with out breaking it?

    can anyone give me some pointers on how to remove the interior fuse cover with out breaking it?

    No idea. I broke mine and just put it back in place. It hasn’t fallen back out yet.

    I broke mine also. You have pry on it a certain way that I figured out after breaking it, and now forgot. Get one of the extended height ones from mesocustoms.com. They flex off easier and have room inside for add-a-fuses.

    There's a tab on the bottom ( towards the driver's seat ) that you can fit a small flat head screw driver into an opening and lever the handle to the fuses which pushes the flat head outward. The cover should come off very easily. I searched YouTube and quickly found a video. If you're adding any kind of tap, the cover will not go back on and you can either leave it exposed or get an extended height version from member mesojdm. If you're looking for an easy way to pull the low profile fuses out, there's a tool under the fuse cover lid under the engine hood ( also revealed in same video ).
