Bank 2 Sensor 2 oxygen sensor code. First, check the connections at the O2 sensor- make sure it is seated properly and not damaged. Then, I'd reset the code at a parts store or disconnect the battery and touch the positive and negative cables together WITHOUT touching the battery, or simply disconnect for a long period of time. Then see if the code returns again. If it recurs, then you may have an issue.

This code deals with the Heater Element of the O2 sensor- this sensor detects the gasses coming through the exhaust and 1) relays that info back to the ECM, and 2) has a heater to attempt to "burn off" the excess fuel gasses escaping so that they don't go into the air killing polar bears and melting the ice caps. See Below:

    Possible causes
    - Faulty Heated Oxygen Sensor (H2OS) Bank 2 Sensor 2
    - Heated Oxygen Sensor (H2OS) Bank 2 Sensor 2 harness is open shorted
    - Heated Oxygen Sensor (H2OS) Bank 2 Sensor 2 circuit poor electrical connection
    - Heated Oxygen Sensor (H2OS) Bank 2 Sensor 2 circuit fuse
    - Faulty Engine Control Module (ECM)
    [IMG] What does this mean?

    When is the code detected?
The P0057 is set when the ECM detects an excessively low voltage through the heated oxygen sensor heater circuit
    Possible symptoms
    - Engine Light ON (or Service Engine Soon Warning Light)

You may need to replace the O2 Sensor- check here:
    http://www.rockauto.com/

AND I'd get Denzo which is what the factory uses. Don't skimp out for a couple of dollars. If you replace it, replace it with the same brand as it CAN make a difference. And most electric parts are non-returnable at most places.

replace the rear o2sensor. >80,000 miles that code is pretty much always accurate. bad o2 sensor

I see there both downstream left and right o2 sensors. Do i need both of those? Also on that rock auto site theres a denso upstream left and right air fuel ratio sensor, should I get that too. Thanks

ya only need bank 2 but I don't know which one is bank 2

unplug one and see what new code you get, that will let you know one
    bank from another

IF the truck is old enough and IF the sensors are the same age then it makes sense
to replace both because the other one is gonna die soon...but only if it is old age

80,000<>140,000 miles is typically where o2 and A/f sensors kaputnik from old age

my 4runner a/f threw a heat circuit code at 130,000 and the o2 died a month later.
new sensors, runs great and it has 220,000 on it no codes

even thought the guts of these things are ceramic they have finite life

but they ain't cheap, so if budgeting... it is price-risky to just swap them out w/o full
electrical diagnosis (which can cost a bit by itself in hours spent). but at
the time I had some coin so a few hunnerd and sayin F-it new sensors was not a prob at the time

Sounds good ill just do them all. Looks like it'll be around 250$ for all sensors. So that should fix/clear this code for sure tho right. And thanks alot for all the help

    250 ?

it is about 250 for ONE a/f.

be 100% sure you are getting the correct parts or you'll have
a galaxy of pain with endless codes coming and going

Just had the exact code after my frame replacement. $270 was the cost of replacement but I bitched and got it free. Too much of a coincidence.
