Hello, I have bought a stereo but I'm having trouble wiring it up, I got most cables ready to be plugged but I'm left with 5 cables, I'm not sure what they are or do. I'll attract a picture of them. They are labelled like this, BRAKE-IN, AMP-CON, KEY2-5V, KEY1-5V and REVERSE-IN. Please can someone help? I'm not an electrician or anything like that.

BRAKE-IN, - used for DVD player so it will play.
AMP-CON, - used to send 12v signal to amp to turn them on
    KEY2-5V, - Steering wheel controls.
    KEY1-5V - same as above.
REVERSE-IN - used to trigger reverse camera to turn on.

What HU is it? Make/Model? The manual will tell all.

EDIT: I found out the Key wires are used for steering wheel keys. I doubt they would work with the Taco and you'll need to get a kit for the steering wheel controls.

Thanks for that, I bought it from eBay and I don't have any manuals with it, to be honest if it's that I don't need to watch DVDs in my car and I haven't got any cameras, so I think the one that I need to plug is the amp one, but where?

If you have after market amps then you'll use that wire. If not then no need to connect it to anything. Just make sure you cap it off or something since the wire does have a 12v signal when HU is on. You don't want it sparking on metal.

As for where it goes to the amp, it goes into the 'remote in' for an amp. All that wire does is act like a light switch to turn on 3rd part amp's in the truck.
