Hey everyone, I’m trying to connect my GoPro to my Mac using a USB cable, but it’s not showing up in Finder or GoPro Quik. I’ve tried different cables and ports, but no luck. Do I need to enable a specific setting on the GoPro or install a driver on my Mac? I’d prefer to transfer files this way instead of removing the SD card every time.
Has anyone successfully done this? Any troubleshooting tips or step-by-step instructions would be greatly appreciated.
    Thanks in advance!

The GoPro should show up in Finder if it’s in the correct mode, but macOS can sometimes have trouble recognizing it. Instead of pulling out the SD card every time, try using https://www.macdroid.app/connect-gopro-to-mac/. It allows for a direct USB connection, making transfers way easier.
