Does anyone know how to change the shift knob on my manual 2016 Tacoma? I've seen it done on the automatic ones didn't know if it's the same?

You twist the chrome ring 1/4 of a turn and then pull down. Then the knob it self is loosened by turning counter clockwise, lefty loosey righty tighty.

As soon as you start to unscrew the Knob pull down on the boot and as said above about a 1/4 turn the boot will separate, I went with the Pro Shift Knob and like it much better than that weird Double Ball Stock one.

That's the knob I'm looking to order didn't wanna order it and not know how to put it on. It just looks more comfortable in your hand over the stock one.

It feels better all the way around, and in my humble opinion makes it much more comfortable going into 2nd, 4th, and 6th.

Perfect because 1st to 2nd is the only shift that I feel like I'm forcing it in unless I'm rolling 13mph+ In first

Looks good, thinking of getting the same thing. Is it heavier than the stock knob?

It actually is lighter, the factory knob felt like it had a small lead weight inside of it.
