Something you have to know and remember just in case you have to park in a parking garage. I barely cleared our parking garage at work with a height limit of 6'6" . They have an iron bar suspended in the entrance of the garage to deter entry of tall trucks. Mine is sitting at 6'3" or 75" at its highest point (not including the antena) but i have a roof rack and a couple of crossbar pads. How tall is your lifted Tacoma sitting? Pics would be nice :D

I had concerns this past Saturday when I went to the movies with the fiancee. The garage is 6'10" and I fit with about 5-6" to spare. I hadn't been there since I put the 285's on (265 stock) so I was hesitant on taking the Taco vs her Scion. I did have to lean out the window to get the parking ticket from the machine lol

Like i mentioned its important to know your height before its too late :D I think 285 gives it another 1-2" in height so you might need to take the Scion next time :D

I'm 6'2" and my taco is about the same height.

OME Kit, 887 springs on Nitrocharger Sport shocks and Dakars in the back. I only got about 2" of lift total because I've got that sexy All-Pro APEX trail armor on my truck.

Tall enough to require a spotter when driving in underground parking.

If you know the exact height in numbers to compare with the posted height limit, then you wont be needing a spotter. What happens when your by yourself and no one around? :)

You must have a 6" lift with that, seems high even for a 3" lift.

I know of someone who cut off a section of their radio antenna to match the height of his roof. If he drives into a tight situation and hits the antenna, he knows not to drive forward any further, saving his roof.

Acts sort of like one of those wire curb finders that some people install on their cars to prevent scrapping their tires on the curb.

I have 5100s in the front at 1.75" to level my truck and stock 265/65/17s and my truck is maybe 6 feet tall? Being able to fit in parking garages is one of the reasons I sold my F250 to get the Tacoma, the Ford was close to 7' tall and didn't it anywhere in the city!

True. That being said I've got the 33's mounted now. No more underground parking for me in certain malls. I was scraping last time. And I don't like rubbing my RTT. I could care less about the Antenna.

A lot of parking garages in my area. That will keep my truck from getting too tall. That and $$$

Think mine was 6'10? Now with the factory roof rack, I'm at 7 feet
