How reliable is IFS long travel?

    this previous post is in no way doing a comparison between companies, simply the way the spindle is bolting to the UCA is all i'm asking about.

    If your considering orientation based off the bolt orientation not the uniball itself then horizontal would have more available up and down movement

    Yeah, the naming convention is perhaps a bit unintuitive. Vertical uniball is when the bolt is horizontal. It makes sense if you think about it from the range of motion perspective. I.e. a vertical uniball configuration has more geometric freedom in the vertical plane and is limited in the horizontal plane.
