Mostly just minor functional / cosmetic stuff here, but it does add up fast! TRD skid plate, Pro grill, OEM bed extender and bed step, subaru front tweeters, OEM remote tailgate lock, black Bumpershelz covers, and some interior dress up stuff like the Teton shift knob. Definitely well below the $2K mark. I really don't like to mess with the mechanical or electronics, especially when still under warranty so there is not much left I really want to do to it.

What would you say your favorite upgrades under 700 are? I have all the big stuff done now its all about personal touches. How do you like the Jackery power station?

I was just gathering receipts this morning to go over with insurance co. about getting a endorsement / rider to cover whatever I can. To throw this much additional into the truck and not have it covered in event of a total loss would be a kick to the nuts.

I'm about $12.5k into the aftermarket scene now, after starting with a $550 under invoice price of $34k and change for my TRDOR4x4.

That works out pretty good seeing how I just sold my 2002 Gen1 with over 240k miles for $11k not long ago. Basically folded what I got out of that truck into this one.

The $12.5k includes an RLD Designs topper and RLD roof rack (not yet arrived, still on the slow boat from Africa).

Rest of it is a C4 LoPro with winch, BD S8 light bar, ten BD S2 lights (2x ditch, 2x backup, 2x rear work scene, 4x side work scene....wow that seems like a lot of lights), King coils / shocks with adjusters all 4 corners, SwitchPros 9100, and various other lesser add ons.

Still need UCA's up front and Deavers for the rear. And possibly paint the RLD (all black on the way). Then I'm done. Oh, and steel skids. Then I'm done. o_O

I started this exercise so that I could post a nice detailed reply, then I got depressed. I'd rather not know and enjoy the truck

Think I'm pushing 20k over the last year or so:

    - Elka 2.5 remote resis
    - 5x Falken Wildpeaks in 265/75R16
    - Regeared to 4.88
    - Timbren rear bumpstops
    - Icon AAL
    - RCI aluminum skids, front/mid/rear
    - Greenlane offroad sliders
    - Greenlane offroad hybrid front bumper
    - Greenlane offroad bed rack
    - Smitty x20 10k winch
    - BD Squadron Pro driving lights
    - Diode Dynamics SS3 Pro fogs
    - ARB twin on board + tank
    - Various recovery gear (snatch strap, shackles, maxtrax, hitch recovery point, tree strap/winch extension, winch blanket)

    Still on the list:
    - Diamondback + bed bars to replace the bed rack
    - high clearance rear bumper of some kind
    - Switch pro
    - Some scene lights on the rear for camping
    - A hitch rack for bikes, they don't fit well under the RTT and I have to load them at an angle. Makes it annoying to pack around.
    - Fridge and probably a bed mounted battery to run it
    - An awning setup of some kind. May try to rig up something to run a 270 batwing off the diamondback.

I also want to do some more work on the rear suspension before I'm totally happy with it. Front feels pretty dialed but the AAL is too stiff, I'd like to do a more progressive rear spring and the timbren bumpstops are too tall and rob me of a lot of uptravel. Really noticeable when we have a down-up-down type hit or a square edge. Would like to move to a lower profile bump or even go whole ham and do spring under axle for high speed work.

Do you like your 4.88 gears or wish you went up to 5.29s. Im about to regear in a few weeks.

I like the 4.88s for this tire size. I'm not planning to go much bigger, maybe to a 255/85R16 but they're great. I think 5.29s would be overkill for tires that small. That said, a tune would help immensely as well because even though a regear helps the cruise control programming is dogshit and it holds gears way too long.
