Looking at getting a new Tacoma. I either want Cement or White. Which do you think will have better resell value? Or does it matter?

See if you can spot a few used examples, whichever paint looks better at the end of ones ownership would likely sell better. ( if color is the only factor)

Just don't buy black......I won't make that mistake again

Most of your avg colors wont change the resale. When you get into the weirder non-normal colors (inferno, blue, tan, army green) you can either sell for more since someone who wants that color is probably having a hard time finding it, but you will also have a harder time finding a buyer on a weirder color.

Toyota only offers 5 colors anyway, whatever color you choose resell won't be a factor.

Fix this Toyota, let color be the customers choice!

Be careful, Toyota has problems with white.. Do a diligent inspection if you do get white

Edit: you said new as in brand new? Should be ok with warranty and all

Resale value won't be affected as much as the ability to sell it with certain colors. I think more people are likely to buy the safer colors, white, black, MGM, etc vs your Inferno, Voodoo, but if you never know all it takes is the right buyer

Get what YOU like. Keep it 15-20 years and at least 300k miles. At that point, color won't matter.

The White does not have a Clearcoat and a few guys on here have had small sections where it comes off.

My autobody guy told me that the single stage white that Toyota has always used (97 land cruiser for example) has a faulty clear coat that never fully "rises" to the surface. He told me that Toyota will not warranty white paint at all. (He sub contracts with the local Toyota dealership.)

i had two white corollas and never had a problem. I'm leaning toward cement now.

My truck is white. I wash it fairly often. No issues with paint... Get the color that you want. Don’t worry about what color the next guy wants.

The super white has had problems for years.....i picked up my 19 used with 14k on it. Didnt really want white but seems half the trucks they build are white. Hoping the paint doesn't flake off this one.....

Black can hurt resale. That’s a colour a lot of people won’t touch.

Stock wheels and suspension. Random "utilitarian" mods featured on this great forum.
As some of the above suggested; probably impact more in a private sale than trading in at a dealer or CarMax. Those people are only worried about turning a profit so the perfect maintenance schedule or minor imperfections you worry about will not matter one bit to them. Get what you like and drive it.

    Working on it ...
I have been driving Toyota trucks for 30+ years. I am on my fourth one. First one was black, second one red, third one silver and now this new one went back to black. I never thought about the color resale value as mine are usually driven for 12+ years and Uber gobs of milage on them before moving them via trade-in or any other way and replacing.
