Just trying to get an idea of when I can justify a tire upgrade to the wife :spending:. I have 24,000 on the stock wranglers which are mounted on stock wheels. They are still going strong. So how long did yours last?

Mine came with BFG Rugged Trail tires and I am at 436xx with maybe 10,000 more left.

I am looking at either Michelin or Cooper all terrain in 265/75R16 to replace the 265/70R16 tires on it now.

I switched mine out at 22K miles. There was still about 6/32 of tread depth but it was fall and I felt there was too little tread left to get through the winter. If I didn't live in a snowy area I guess they'd last until about 30K miles. Definitely wouldn't have made it to 50K as advertised. I thought they were quite good in the snow and dirt.

After checking the tire actuarial tables, this office has determined that your tires last as long as your bank account and marital status allows it to.

I've got 24k on the stock wranglers and I hope to get another 10 to 12k out of them. I might change them out before our drive out to colorado next august. I don't see them going any longer than that. I would probably change them now if i lived in a snowy area.

Wtf? Mine lasted 32,000 miles. Bought it off the lot with the wranglers. Had to get some new ones before the next rainy season. And yes they were rotated during my 5k services at the dealer. Got some cooper discoverer AT tires now.

I’ve always had issues with Goodyear’s with respect to traction on wet roads. Will probably go w/ Falkens sooner than later.

I have 20k miles/33k kilometers and one looks like it has either a crack or a massive gash in the side wall, but the tread life is still decent. Should last another 20k-30k kilometers if the gash doesn't cause any issues. I'm hoping to get ridge grapplers for the summer though.

I put about 1000 km on mine, looking around for replacements, and then put on a set of Duratracs on my Tacoma when I bought it new in 2015. When I bought my current 4 Runner, 3 weeks ago, I had the dealer install BFGs before taking delivery. Life is too short to mess around with car tires on an off road vehicle. Why bother with them at all?

I have a Sport, maybe this does not pertain :pout:. Anyhoo, the stock Toyos made it ~30,000mi. I did not want to keep them through winter, but they may and I mean may have passed inspection. Got the KO2's (or Bros as I call em) and love the new rubber.

I have 40K on the sport tomo’s and they are looking thin. I’m debating on switching them out before winter...

The Wildpeaks are noticeably better than the Stock Goodyears in the rain.
