You know you can get a gallon of it and use a compressed air spray gun, right? Otherwise, I'd say between 6 and 8 cans depending on how liberally you apply it.

I use 4 cans in the early spring and 4 more cans in the late fall, and get a pretty good coating on everything each time. The first time I did it, I also sprayed 1 extra can in the rockers by removing the rubber plugs, and 1 extra can in the doors up through the door drain holes.

You're better off ordering it online by the case than buying single cans. It will be a lot cheaper that way. Obviously buying in bulk and using the air compressor is the cheapest, but not everyone has an air compressor.

I do have an air compressor. I just remember seeing on here someone said a normal paint sprayer wont spray it. Is this true?

Upgrade to the better gun and buy the 360 deg long wand. Aftern you by the gun you can just buy by the gallon can.
