How many bags of mulch will fit in a 2012 tacoma 6ft bed?

    37 2 cubic foot bags of mulch will fit in the back of a tacoma 6ft bed v6 manual trans. Just fyi in case you want to know.

    Soooo at 40lbs per bag, that's 1480lbs. In other words, 3/4 of a ton. Uh......OK.

    I hauled a pallet of laminate flooring... Approx. 1500lb... Would not do that again... But i only had to go about 12 city blocks

    For what you paid for bagged mulch you could get 3-4x as much if you went to a outdoor product supply house and bought it loose in bulk. I regularly buy mulch and/or compost by the yard which is dumped in the back by front end loader. If it is dry I can easily take a full yard. If the product is wet, I take a 1/2 and make 2 trips.

    That's what down town LA looks like since they heard Donald trump is exporting them back where they came from (that's like 7 families too in that)

    Whatta you do lay a tarp down in your bed with it over hanging the sides of the truck ? (Protecting the paint AND makin easy clean up?)

    Yeah, a packing blanket for just a little extra protection. If I had been smarter, I'd have tarped the whole bed (so i could just pull the whole tarp out when we got half way unloaded). The dude running the frontloader was an absolute wizard. All but a handful of mulch made it into the bed with no damage. Had a lit cig hanging out of his mouth the whole time too.
