the only thing i have tinted is my 3rd brake light lens. i'd it's tinted "to the max" - it's pretty much black.

i live in SoCal where the sun is strong most the year. but my truck is garaged, and my parking spot at work is south-facing, so the rear of the truck isn't in the direct sun all day.

still, once a year, the tint becomes faded and i have to re-spray it.

every time, i properly do a light sand & prep before spraying.

did i buy a bunk can, or does everyone else periodically do this to everything they spray?

Put some clear coat over it and it will last much longer

I did RED VHT on the rear taillights of my old car I'd say it last 8 months or so..

I agree with the black. Dangerous AND Illegal, at least in Colorado...
