Yesterday I took mine in for the 35,000 mile service and an inspection, and they said my factory brake pads haven't even worn half way, which they said is really good.

I just replaced the OEM pads on my 2014 at 120k and they probably had 2mm left lol. I'm 99p sure the 3rd gens use the same pads & rotors.

I replaced the OEM pads on my ‘06 at 13 years, 92,000 miles and they had a lot of life left. The only reason I changed them at that point was because I was about to tow a car hauler 2,500 miles.

77,685 miles on my lifted 2017 w/ 33" BFGs. Best brakes in the industry. Whenever you replace them, put Toyota factory parts right back on!

120k on original pads, still have plenty of life left. Mines a manual though, and I drive pretty conservatively.

65k. could have gone a bit more but the rotors were starting to get very rusty.

I replaced with TRD pads and OEM rotors and it stops fantastic now. I did stainless flex lines as well which give a nice feel.

I'll second this. OEM Toyota brake components are pretty damn good. My buddy is a Toyota tech and says our rear brake shoes will last 300k lol

Plenty of great answers so I'm gonna hijack this thread for just a sec, does anyone else's brake pedal click once or twice if you push far enough? Only have 6k miles on my '21. I'm also pretty used to them now but everyone that has driven my truck feels like the brakes are too pillowy. As if there wasn't enough brake fluid but there does seem to be.

I guess maybe another good question: How often do you all do a brake fluid flush?

Just had my 2019 serviced Monday - I get service from my dealership every 5K miles (oil and tire rotation at least)....they said my brakes are good - they know I change/service everything before it is needed. I have 164K miles on my truck.

100k here, and still going strong. From the looks, I may get another 20k out of them, but will probably replace soon.

92k I replaced them because my rotors warped and shook with light braking, pads were still on good shape though but since I took them off they got replaced
