My truck is a 2018 TRD OR. How many miles did you get out of your factory tires and what did you replace them with? I have 27,000 on mine and there still ok. I think I could get to 35-40,000 miles.

Would have to ask the second owner of them. I took them off and replaced them with discoverer at3’s the first week I got them. Tire mileage varies so much from person to person and tire to tire. Before this truck I had a Ford with yoko geolanders, my first pair lasted 28,000 my second pair lasted 43,000. I drove a lot more gravel on my first pair than the second.

This truck has had a pampered life. Mostly a grocery getter and dog transporter. Little to no gravel roads. I’ll look into those Geolanders.

I drove across the road to a tire store to get 10 ply Michelins put on. In all honesty I drove about 70 yards on them.

why spend 35k on a truck and have shitty handling and traction for the first 3 years??

Couldn't honestly tell ya. Put my 3rd set of street tires on about 20K ago. My Taco has about 127K miles on it. I run a set of snows most Winters, although the last few they haven't been needed. I'd have to guess I got about 40K+ on the OEM tires. Might not be comparable to what is on your Taco.

3" lift. $10K in TRD options. Richie's semi-hidden bumper, and soon his Elka suspension
My 09 got about 40,000 miles on the shitty Dunflop Grantrek. Factories of pretty much any model put cheap soft tires on their vehicles, which wear out quickly. Tire companies sell tires to auto plants cheap and make money of after market tires, which you'll need relatively soon...

The stock tires on my 19 Taco didn't even touch the road, other than to unload it at the dealership... They had put on TRD rims with BFG KO2's, along with another $8K in TRD options - this is how I bought the truck.

I got Michelins at 27k (2017 OR) - I was more concerned with dry rot/cracking on the stock tires, still some decent tread left.
I did have to get the Michelins shaved at a race shop, they were out-of-round from Costco which surprised me.

My stock Toyo A30'S are coming off today at 10AM and have 25K miles on them . If it wasn't winter I could run them another 5K miles but not going to chance it . Never did like these tires but was to cheap to replace them till I got most of the use out of them .

I’m hoping the stock tires last long enough that I don’t have to replace them during the 39K lease miles and they have sufficient tread at turn in. I’m guessing I’ll replace them around 20K, half way through the lease so I don’t turn it in with new tires. If I were replacing now with 4K on the odometer I’d get a set of BFG K02’s, but I can’t justify $1100 on a set of tires or $2500 on wheels and tires for a leased truck. The stock Goodyear’s are $650 per set at my local tire shop.

2018 TRD OR. Replaced GY kevlars at 36K, approx 4/32. New tires are Cooper AT3 4S, stock size. I have approx 4K on the Coopers. They are preforming well in all on road conditions - dry, rain, & snow.

Replaced mine at 44k with different tires. The tires could have easily gone to 50-55k before replacing. 99% freeway miles.

Replaced with Yokohama Geolandars G003 265/75/16 on stock OR suspension and wheels. No rub.

2017 TRD OR... GY Kevlars, only about 23,000 miles and they were shot. All wore evenly but seemed to wear quickly. Replaced with Wildpeaks and they are excellent.

Currently 48K on my stocks. Still have some life but I've waited long enough. Currently have my replacement tires sitting in my garage my lady keeps reminding me about...
