2017 TRDOR, fully stock. How "flat" is still normal for stock leaf springs? In an unloaded bed, my springs look like this. I would appreciate a few data points from others.

Normal. Here is what Icon rxt leaf pack looks like. One of the quality leaf packs out there that can actually hold weight

Flat is normal, actually it's better than normal. Most are sagging more.

OP if your worried about when loading you could install a single aal that would regain some arch in leaf pack also. That’s an option as well. If you load bed frequently single leaf will get tired after time. IMO

I'm thinking of doing the u-bolt flip when I install my RTX pack. I can't quite tell in the pic, but does a bump stop still mount on top? In particular, I'm thinking of keeping my Sumo Springs but not sure how/if they can still be attached.

Thanks. I'm not exactly seeing how though. Do you have drill holes in the sumo spring mount or what is holding it?

Thanks. Yeah, I've seen the single hole bumps, but the sumo spring has the flat edge for the normal u-bolt to lay across. I'm guessing I'll have to drill a couple holes or find a different mount for the sumo spring.

Sorry for hijacking OP. Now back to your regular schedule programming.

I just put Sumo Springs on mine as well. That is the reason I was asking about the stock leaf springs. I was under the impression that the Sumo Springs were short enough (or the stock leaf springs bowed enough) that they only engaged after the leaf springs saw significant compression...you know, a backup suspension device rather than a primary one. However, with my truck, the Sumo Springs are already in contact a bit with the bed even before putting weight in the bed. So on my truck, the Sumo Springs will always be providing some suspension and aren't a "backup" or "secondary" device.

I have the 4 donut ones and a shell. My frame is just sitting on top. I just put them on so only a few dozen miles so far but I can sort of feel them. In a good way I guess. Less bounce over speed bumps and maybe a bit firmer feel on the road. I got them mainly to help with sagging when loaded on an upcoming trip so we'll see. Getting 5100s and an Icon leaf pack this summer so that will probably get me sitting a bit higher.

    I presume "aal" is "add-a-leaf"?

I put SSR-612-40 Sumo Springs (https://a.co/d/fPMmKyh) on to see if that would help me, especially for towing my ~4,000lb RV (with weight distribution hitch). Because of the existing, err, flatness of my springs, the frame sits on the Sumo Springs all the time. They do help when towing, of course, but I'd prefer the Sumo Springs engage only when I have excess weight on the backend. That's not gonna happen with my existing flat OEM springs. As it is, the ride is a bit harsher with no weight on the backend since the Sumo Springs are always in contact.

The Icon RXT spring packs are $371 each (o_O). I'll have to look into an add-a-leaf.
