How do you Reset the Maintenance Alert

Had my truck in for a battery issue at 9,400 miles. They did the 10,000 mile service, tire rotation, and oil change while it was in the shop. Super good shop at Bell Road Toyota.

But as soon as I passed about 9,600 miles, every time I start it up now it says "Maintenance Due Soon at 10,000 Miles." or something close to that.

How do I let the truck know the maintenance was already performed?

 

On the steering wheel go all the way to the right and all the way down on the middle part of the dashboard and there should be a reset maintenance option.

It triggers on startup about 500 miles in advance, then stays solid once the mileage is hit.

It can be reset anytime you wish, like your early change, and it starts over.
