All I could find online was a 9-second clip by some kook that removes the center cap so fast you can’t see what type of tool he uses or how he really does.

Anyone has come across a video out there?

They are not coming off and I don’t want to break those pieces of plastic.

    Thanks.

Are you talking about the center caps on the truck wheels? I take the wheels off the truck and use a flat screwdriver to release the tabs from the reverse side.

Yes. But I’m pretty sure I don’t have to take the wheels off the truck to do it. That’d be absurd.

I got some OE TRD center caps that I want on my fake SEMA wheels. All I need is to replace the caps, that’s it.

Sounds like it's a great time to rotate the tires.

Pretty straight forward. If you must, use a condom around the tip of your flat head screwdriver. No need to remove your wheel WTH. Those center caps are not that fragile. Unless you are talking about something else?

Yes, this works with the stock OR wheels I have sitting in the garage. The center caps are made of pliable plastic that lets you grab them, squeeze them and pull them out. But for some reason doesn’t work with the SEMA wheels. The plastic is much harder. Feels brittle.

I guess I’ll keep trying until something gives.

Finally got them off using this:

However, the Toyota caps fit completely loose. They rattle like crazy. The Made in China caps that came with the wheels fit nice and snug.

    Ugh...! I’m sending them back.

    Thanks everyone for the help.
