I'm currently looking to put some round off road lights on my Aries bull bar. After shopping around I cant decide between KC, LightForce, Rough Country etc...

Anyone have any experience with which is the best value?

I built a custom light mount for the front of my truck and I have a pair of Hella 700ff driving lights on it. I really like them. I wired them up to a switch but they are triggered off the high beams. So basically I have REALLY bright high beams. I've had a bunch of different types of auxiliary lighting over the years and I think Hella offers the best lighting for the money.

Thanks for the replies boys...I decided to say "F*** it" and I bought myself some PIAA 240's. Found them on ebay for a decent price so I'll give an update once they're here and installed :)

I took the grill off and made a steel rack out of angle iron that bolts to the radiator support at the top and bottom. Then mounted two pieces of 1/4" plate about 2" wide to it that stick out through the grill. I really should have taken photos when I built it. I've had a bunch of people come up to me at gas stations and stuff asking how I did it. You really can't see much of anything even with the hood open.

Are you guys running 5" or 6" lights on your bull bars? I found the 6" on an Aries bull bar leaves no room for adjustment. Thanks.

Also, were are you running the wire thru the cab at. Hope the OP don't mind my questions on this. Just did not think it was worth a thread of it's own.

When I purchased my 2015, it had 3k on it and the guy that purchased it had a bull bar and KCs installed. The wiring was routed back through the rubber boot at the firewall on the drivers side. Fairly clean job of routing. He had the work done at the local dealership. I noticed the LED would not light up on the rocker switch. When I looked at the wiring terminations, I noticed a brown wire with a loop terminal hanging loose. They failed to connect the ground. I located a chassis bolt in the area of the fuse panel and connected it. :eek:Wow...LED works. Makes you feel good about the dealership techs.
