As title says, I have the darn $310 tacoma floor mats and while the drivers side has the floor clamps the passenger side will move up inches when a passenger is over there. Solutions?

    Thanks

No BRO-ness to speak of... Well, except Kbro2's
$310 floor mats? Are they spun from gold? My Huskies were half that and have prickles on the bottom that do an adequate job of keeping the passenger mat in check.

Yea that's a really good solution. Buy a 4Runner just so the passenger floor mat doesn't slip

OP have you tried the double sided heavy duty Velcro tape?

I troll from time to time as well, it can be fun and lifts the mood..

I'll look into the velcro as well as the thread another member shared in a reply. I should've searched, but alas my impatience gets the better of me.

Also, if it's not too late, maybe you can take those mats back? I have weathertechs and they work great for me. But I've read those slip for some as well. So you may want to look at the Husky as I think they have grips to prevent sliding.

Huskies are far better than any of the OEM mats. I tried the velcro method, velcro and adhesive method but nothing worked as the velcro only sticks to the carpet but not the mats. Got fed up and bought huskies.

    1. Why are your floor mats $310? Do you have both carpet and all weather
1a. If you have both they should not be used together as it says on the floor mat
    2. I have a solution for you, https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/passenger-floor-mat-keeps-moving.408732/page-2

I tried attaching Velcro strips to the back of my OEM all weather mats, didn't stick for long. Tried a couple of different glues/adhesives, didn't stick for long. Then used Gorilla glue original formula and 3M Scotch Extreme Fasteners (they're like a super heavy duty velcro). The Gorilla glue hled them on, no problem now. The thing is, many glues/adhesives won't stick to the back of the rubber mats, but Gorilla glue does the trick!

Get Husky. Better than weathertech cause they aren't hard and slick. Weatherbeaters rule

+4 for Husky. The stock all weather mats are crap compared. No passenger side slippage.

Magnets. Glue neodium magnets to the bottom of the mat and they hold it in place. Take that F150 military grade aluminum!
