I'm not sure if I have anything to attach them too. I'd like to mount them to the back so I ca access them. This is what I'm working with

I could just try to keep it clean cuz it gets pretty packed on the long trips. That is def an option if I don't figure something out

I'd make a new under platform for the camper and build in a slide in area for the devices or perhaps a thin folding chair/etc.

Can you slide them between those 2x4"s and add a little strap to keep them from sliding out?

My buddy's truck. Using the maxtrax mounts on the cheaper brand boards.

So this was the solution I came up with. Basically it's 4- 4"x 3/8" threaded bolts with washers on the inside and outside of the, a locking washer with nut and a wingnut with washer to keep the boards on. Only thing I couldn't find is a locking mechanism. Total cost right around 15 bucks. Had a can of clear flex seal sitting around so a few coats of that for water proofing. Pretty happy with the look and mounts very solid with a few cranks of the wing nut. Hit me with all the pros, cons likes or dislikes. Any ideas for improvements I'd love to hear

Looks good! The only thing I could think of is maybe drill a little hole in one of the wings of each nut so you can wire-tie them; as to not loose them while driving, NVH

I thought about that no drill press here though. Over 600 miles on them and rock solid so far

This might be a dumb question but I am new to the truck bed camper world and I am looking for any tips or tricks. How often do you use your tracks and is this something I should be looking into? here is a picture of my setup.

Used mine twice in the year I had my camper! Totally depends on your frequency of offroad but it’s a worthy investment

Thanks for the reply, I am kind of nervous taking the camper to far off road since i am so new driving it. We will see how Denver winter and driving to the mountain and back goes this winter and from there i guess i will make my decision.

any other tips and tricks you might suggest?

If your in the dirt put it in 4wd. It will exercise the drive train and is much safer driving. Be sure to grease your zerks afterwards
