I've been always wanted to lift my truck ever since I've got it. I've been looking for lift kit for my particular truck , but I'll I've seen are lift kits for 4wd or coilovers. Here are some fotos.

The Suspension is different on the 2wd vs the 4x4 or prerunner. You limited by the shock. You can put a spacer on top of the spring. But not very much. 1 or 2 inches max.

A lift on that truck would only be for looks.

And no offense, but there are a lot of things that can be done to that truck to improve the looks w/o a lift.

Anyway, check out the 5 lug forum. There are more options around.

Don't be disappointed by the first three previous and absolutely useless replies. You'll find other members will contribute with more informed and educated ideas. Another option is google your question or key in your truck info at 4wheel parts, fabtech, doetsch, and other suspension parts vendors. Good Luck.

Useless? We're being realistic. Why waste money on a lift that
    1. Won't look very good
    2. Will decrease mileage and performance
    3. IS USELESS.

I have only one problem, when I type in my type of car in the preferences, and all I see are parts for 4x4 type.

Bumper, Winch, 315s, Sliders, OME HD lift, Custom rear swingout, roof rack, drawers, way too much to list.
The biggest question is; is the juice worth the squeeze? Is the effort, time, money and loss of MPG worth it? If it's worth it to you then there is a way to do it and I hope you find it. Anything can be lifted with enough custom fab work. The rear is probably going to be pretty easy, spacer and longer shocks/brake lines. I'm not familiar with the front setup on the 5 lug/2wd but there's bound to be something out there.

:censored: I took the time to answer and fallowed with some links to 2wd 5 lug lift kits. You are able to lift them a little. So careful with your remarks.

Here is an answer for your question...

What you need is a spindle lift for the front. Google doetsch shocks for their website to order theirs. Also fabtech sells em. The suspension will remain stock so you don't NEED to upgrade shocks, but if you do then good for you.

For the back you can use simple longer shackles. You will need longer shocks

If you want anymore lift you can get bigger tires and/or do a body lift but i would go with a 1" body lift. 2" TOPS. 3" is just dangerous.

Yup the 5 lug forum will be better, good comeback Clearwater Bill. No offense to you MechanicJon, well acknowledged check!
Some guys go mntn biking and find better access to the roads and parking lots if they're riding on mudders; in the same light know a bit of a lift will accomodate those mudders. Some guys are farm or ranch hands, and need to hit the dirt trails in their daily routines. It is well known that a bump up in size of wheels and tires on 2wd will result in better handling and road manners....those 14" just don't cut it. A plus is the truck's appearance is enhanced as well.
A 2wd is more economical to own and maybe all they need for such outings, doesn't necessarily mean offroading is the intent.
Taking the guy's wind out of his sails, shooting him down and telling him ''game over'' adds absolutely no value to these forums. A pissing contest between 2wd owners and 4by/prerunner chest puffed out guys is senseless.

    A few.
If anything cut and roll the fenders and you could shove some bigger tires under her, maybe add some sort of custom body lift. (That'd be a huge, expensive can of worms) I'd go the opposite direction and drop it with race suspension. Then add a super charger or upgrade to a 6 banger, turn it into a hell of a street truck!
