I removed the alarm horn when I first got the truck. The alarm still worked but it didn’t beep every time I locked or unlocked it

years later the dealer ran a systems check. Now the alarm goes off every time I lock or unlock the vehicle.

The dealer says they never did this.

i’ve tried all of the YouTube tricks and none of them have stopped the irritating Horn beeps

The beeps disturb myself and the neighbors every time

if you know how to Turn off the alarm in this situation please let me know

Is it a beep or a honk?
    Is the alarm system OEM?
The beep is normal for OEM, AFAIK a honk is not OEM and usually aftermarket?

I don’t know what OEM means, nor AFAIK. We bought it brand new from dealer. I have not put any Alarms on it

I would call this a very quick tap on the horn.

A factory made and dealer instigated torturous hell

I would take it back to the dealer but They have taught me not to trust them about 10 times in different cities

I’m sorry I don’t follow. I feel like that, but I don’t see what the clip video has to do with the title or finding a solution to this nightmare.

As far as I'm aware the OEM (factory/Toyota) lock and unlock never used the horn. However dealerships are known to have installed aftermarket alarms in these vehicles that do utilize the horn. Are there any mysterious red buttons surface mounted around the steering wheel base? If so then you have an aftermarket alarm, and that's the cause of your problems.

Hood Struts, My version Fogs always ON, Map & Overhead Light Mod,
    Not accurate at all.
My 2005 uses the HORN as "notice" for unlock/lock and it has an RS 3200+ alarm. I turned OFF the notification, I can't remember the procedure.

Here is the diagram which shows the internal ground to the system that turns the horn ON when Lock/Unlock is selected.

Well know I know, my 07’ doesn’t do anything other flash the marker lights.
Only time the horn works is with the Panic button or when I press it.

Only other noises I ever heard one make was a beep.
    I believe it was on a 2013 and a 2015. I can’t really remember.

you can always disable the alarm by lifting the rear wheels
