How can I clean up this battery wiring?

Installed some accessories including a breaker and blue sea fuse box along with a 27M X2 Power agm. The battery leads are long enough to reach the posts, though not the cleanest arrangement. But what I’m wondering is whether or not it’s acceptable to use busses for both positive and negative connections to the battery.

I have a solar charger and aux fuse box connected to the battery currently. Can I run cables from the marine posts to positive and negative busses, then connect solar, and aux fuse panels (I plan to run aux power to another fuse box in the bed) to those?

Ok, at first glance I misunderstood how both of these work. They will work of course, but what I really would prefer is keeping my starter connected to the main posts, but then have aux buses mounted somewhere, powered by heavy gauge connections to the marine posts. Then just have my aux fuse boxes connected to those buses.

All your wires are too short.
Only way to get a really nice clean look is your own custom made lengths.
Use a distribution box instead all wires going to your battery. Use OFC cables.
If you decide to, you will need good proper crimping tool / solder/ heat shrink.
When I did a motor swap years ago, I have yet to have anything get loose. All clean hidden wires.
Don't let anything rub against the cables/ wires.
Small wires use wire loom and tape.
Just keep everything nice and tight.
I would highly recommend a breaker switch.
Working on any electrical is a breeze with a breaker switch. Switch on/ off without touching the battery clamp bolts and of course having a breaker switch.

Nice, thank you. Do you have a crimp tool in mind? I’ve seen so many different types including hydraulic.

What are OFC cables? I searched but only came up with fiber optic.

Also, how do I figure out what gauge wire to use?

OFC or OFHC cables are "oxygen free cables" . They're used for batteries/ amp by stereo guys due to high conductivity. O gauge for your battery will need a hammer tip ( cleanest way).
Easiest to customize a 1/0 gauge is pre assembled .You can find one at any stereo shop. It's an amp kit.
And USUALLY it is OFC cables for pos. and neg.

Before clamping things down, check your voltage.
Negative side should be around .04vdc. A good ground is just as important.

These tools are great to have as it seems you like to work on your own vehicles.

Fyi "oxygen free cables" are total bullshit, especially if it's just power delivery.

This hydraulic crimper is pretty good, just used mine fornthenfirst time today and I like the results much better than a hammer one.

Do they come with two post adapters or just one for negative?

Go to a welding supply store with the lengths you need and the terminals you want and they will sell you the cable and crimp the ends on for you. You just need longer cables to go around the battery instead of over top of it. I got those military style battery clamps as you can connect 4 wires easily and they look clean and are cheap.
    Here is my inspiration.
