How big a tire can I go with a factory leveling kit already on my 2023 Tacoma 4+4 trail edition ?

I’m sure this is a FAQ here but I recently bought a 2023 Tacoma trail edition and the dealer told me it already has a factory leveling kit on it . It has 265 70 r 16 on it but looks to be plenty of room to go bigger . My question is without cutting my truck up how much bigger a tire could I go ?

    or 35s and :sawzall:

or 255/85/16 with the right offset wheel.

A 0-3” lift doesn’t affect max tire size generally speaking.

285s with a good alignment might fit if the wheels are a +4 offset. Maybe add a 1/2 spacer for a little more lift.

255/85/16 pizza cutters will be fine with those wheels and that’s a real 33”.

285/75/16 will work with some alignment and trimming. Yea, you will need to trim stuff if you off road at all.

265/75/16 if you want slightly larger and don’t want to worry about changing anything else.

Great info thank you guys so much ! I’m thinking of going 265/75/r16 which I believe is a 32 so I don’t have any issues . I’m not a hardcore off-roader but I want her sitting right with a more aggressive larger tire . Thinking the MT Baja 500 a/t hybrid . Any input is much appreciated, thx again !

You could get a pretty good price selling the 16” rims and go to a 255/75R17 tire on (Toyota) wheels. 32.5” OD, and a fairly decent range of tire choices with that being a Wrangler size.

I have the 275/70r17's and they are just over 32. No special alignment or upper control arms and about 2 inches vs factory higher in the front. I trimmed away some of the cosmetic plastic from the inside rear of the front fender wells. I don't beat the truck up off road but I go out in the desert and the mountains etc. With the -10 offset wheels I have I get a very slight tell of some contact with the outside edge of the tread. You can see in the picture, maybe, what I am talking about. Strangely, it seems like the tad bit of rub occurs while driving around town.
