From my posts here and here, 2.5 gallon gas and 2.5 gallon water can mounted to the bed using the Rago brackets. Sorry so picture heavy. I ended up using a bunch of leftover scrap hardware to make it work.

Maybe "for offroad use only" you could replace the spout with this?

The list is long but distinguished
Added front bed rail and use a flat piece of aluminum to pinch the Wavian can holders to the bed. I can run a steel cable through the cans and lock them to tie downs to keep the opportunistic sticky fingers at bay. They stay planted even on the roughest trails thus far.

    Hello DAS Taco,
Looking at the Scepter military fuel cans. Canada stores will not ship them to the U.S.
I see some on ebay for $160. Do you know of other source?
    Thanks

Nada for me. If I'm going on a multi-day wheeling trip where refueling might be a problem, I'm also carrying enough tools, camping gear, and recovery gear to fill the bed:

My Coleman marine cooler fits right in the space between the Scepter 20L jerrycan and the tailgate. The tonneau constrains the jerrycan vertically.

8105CCD1-0302-4E62-A0CD-BFCBC9D4B148.jpg I made a full length drawer slide for my fuel/water, and fridge. Strap the cans to the tray and use a super siphon to fill the truck when needed. No lifting required.

I found used ones for $69.95 here:

    https://armynavyoutdoors.com/scepte...if1No1kvq5QpuGC4NdEuUsrrkep-oaRhoCVvoQAvD_BwE

    $69.95
Grade 2-What we call normal surplus. The gear is fully usable and shows normal signs of use but has a lot of life left. It may have stains, and or writing. The cap assembly is complete and fully functional in used condition.

    $29.95
Un-repaired: We offer these fuel cans as a great budget option if you can do the repairs yourself or have extra parts. These will have missing caps and some may have a small hole on the very top that can be sealed. This gear is a final sale and will not qualify for an exchange or refund.
