My truck only has one horn (base model, 2TR-FE) but I’m not sure if it came that way or the previous owner deleted one horn. In any event, I installed a dual horn by tapping the stock single connector to the second horn. Only the second horn works (the one running off the tap), the one that is connected to the factory wire with the tap does not. I tried switching the horns around just to see if one of the horns was broken, but it’s not the horns.

Also, in the same wiring bundle with the horn connector is this connector. Anyone know what this is for?

Thanks in advance for the help!

Figured out the horn part - the attachment screw on the back of the horn is your ground connection (didn’t know that) so the one that wasn’t working was not properly grounded. Found a good solid connection and both horns work now.

Still don’t know what that connector in the picture is for though. Thoughts?

You’re right, thanks! I don’t know why I didn’t think of it before, but the part number is right in the picture, duh. A quick google shows it’s a Toyota air temperature sensor. Thanks for the help!
