    Is there a TSB on 2018 hood flutter. Someone on Facebook said they thought there was???

    I’m not sure about the tsb, but I asked during an oil change at the dealer about the flutter which was very obvious. Ended up leaving the truck for a week, got a loaner, and the overall result was very good with no more hood flutter.

    I looked at your pictures when they offered to replace my hood. It the same as mine from 1/16. i don't think there was any redesign. I decided to hold off and maybe fix it myself as factory paint is never the same as a respray.

    I figured fixing it myself was faster, easier and more convenient than taking it to the dealer.

    I had some extra tubes of high temperature silicone in the garage. It dries to clear and worked great.

    And, it’s now covered with engine compartment insulation anyway.

    I went over it twice to completely fill the gaps. It’s held strong for several months and there’s no more flutter.

    Your right that other thread was the same problem. Thanks guys. I have to take in for 5000 mike service and will let them know to fix it.
