Well, he did have to lean in to it for sure, but yeah he was able to adjust the fender by hand basically.

They do make longer bump stops and that will certainly raise the hood level. Mine is an 18 and sits pretty level.

Thanks. I'll have to check around and see what may work.

My driver side gap at the front edge of the hood is higher than the passenger side. It’s so bad that when an 18 wheeler passes going the opposite way it feels like the hood is going to be ripped off. I had no idea about the adjustable bump stops until I came across this thread. It is now mostly level. Going to check it out this weekend and reevaluate. Thanks to all y’alls for this nugget. My truck is now perfect!

The only way mine sits to look good is when I pull the latch out, ha. I even tried making the latch holes bigger so I could move it further down. Didn't help. I'm about to just say F it and throw some hood pins on.

I used to have problems with my hood, then a tree branch that was much stronger than i expected carved itself over the hood and down the passenger side. i don't worry about the alignment as much now.
As long as the hood latch strikes at the right place, holds the hood securely and the bump stops are keeping panel from chafing other panels you're good.

Bringing this back up...gap still bothered me so I decided to try giving it a little more of a tweak by hand. Holy crap, are these fenders flimsy!! I am ashamed I didn't actually try this myself yet, but I was able to nudge the front and back ends down easily and the whole friggin' thing can be bumped inwards without a whole lot of effort if I wanted to close the fender-hood gap up a bit. My alignment is nearly perfect now! I've never had a vehicle with such flimsy body panels before, this is kind of crazy to be honest.

I scooped up my sought after scooped hoop the other day.

There are some uneven gaps upon installion but luckily I stumbled upon the adjustment procedure in another thread.

For the life of me, I cannot confidently identify which parts are which. My ocd is kicking in and just want to see if someone can take a pic of each of the illustration for better visual or maybe label which part is which. Normally, diagrams are easy to follow but this one has me saying “wtf?!”

    Appreciate in advance.

    Pictures attached.

Anyone's hood sitting a little high in the back by the hinge after taking it off/on. I've checked the bolts twice, not sure why it's higher now.
