Does anyone else have a PROMAXX Auto brand hood protector? I seem to be getting a lot of hood "flexing" at highway speeds. I did not have one on my 06 Tacoma but put one on my 11 and I don't remember seeing the hood flex on the 06. So, is the protector causing the air turbulence to make the hood flex? Still can't decide if I like it or not on my truck. If someone else has same brand,do you see your hood flex?

I don't have a bugshield on mine but I've put them on past trucks and noticed quite a bit of hood flex on the freeway.

I had a bugshield on my Tacoma and my hood would flex especially after semis pass on a two lane highway so I took it off and doesn't flex anymore

when going at the car wash and going under the giant driers, my hood flexes so much that the first time I thought I would get out the there with mega giant permanent dents on my hood.

I notice it towards the windshield, on the back side of the hood occasionally. No deflector here. If you haven't noticed, almost anywhere in the truck, you can easily put a dent with your thumb. The bodies are meant to crumble, hence safety.

I wonder if the same engineer designed the tailgate.
