Hi all, I have a cap with the thule tracks already installed. I was wondering if anyone has built there own feet to attach to the tracks? I searched with no luck. I have been looking at cross bars and the whole setup is going to cost around $420.00 if I buy thule or yakima. I see that prinsu and baja rack has a rack that attaches directly to the track. Does anyone have any pictures of the attachment points?
    Thanks

Just curious what are you going to use the rack for?

image.jpg I have a cap with Yakima crossbars and tracks, for the price I think it's better to go prinsu or front runner, much better quality

I have a raft frame that I would put up there. Might get a basket and put chain saw and gas. Nothing to heavy. I see a lot of people making there own mounts for the bed rails but no one seems to make there own feet for the thule tracks. I would think it would be about the same idea. I will look at front runner I didn't see that one thanks. Nice truck.

I have gotten two different yakima racks (towers and cross bars) off craigslist and neither cost more that 100. If you have the tracks, everything from there is relatively universal. Just figure out what part(s) you need to fit the tracks, and do some CL hustling.

Eventually I'm going to get front runner both front and rear, and thank you!

I think I have a set of Yakima rail-riders laying around you can have for free. Pretty sure I do not have the mounting nuts but Yakima sells them separately. The only problem is the Yakima bars are round. I will see if I have them. If so you can have them.

I would be interested in the rail-riders if you could find them.
    Thanks

These track nuts are your friend. They can be installed into the tracks without removing the end caps. Can bolt whatever you come up with to them.
