I have 340,000 on my 2009. It's was a work truck and is pretty stock. It's retired now and about to become my camping trip overlander. I have no doubt it will go as long as I want it to as long as I take care of the drive train.

You too man. Your truck is 4 years younger so you must put a lot of miles on every day. I used to put about 150-200 a day on out in the oil field. These trucks never fail to impress me. Mine runs like new and I have people trying to buy it all the time. I have enough faith in it that I'm about to really start sinking money into it as far as a leer shell, wheels, tires , stereo, etc.

I drive 5k miles per month, so my taco is always moving :)
I plan to mod mine when I retire it at 500k....bigger motor (like a 07 4runner v8), big ass lift/brakes/wheels, & major AV upgrade to the interior
    happy new year bud!

My 15’ is at 170k and I’m not slowing down with the miles. 7500mi oci’s, fluid film, regular u-joint greasing. Keeps it rolling trouble free. I put on about 40k a year and decided to keep it and go for the long haul. It’s still in perfect shape, it’s been lifted since I hit 18k, and I have enough faith in it that I put an ARB bumper on it and some new coil overs. A friend of mine has an 11’ taco with somewhere around 350k and he piles the miles on it- driving between Reno NV and upstate NY regularly (usually pulling a trailer- last year it had a Honda S2000 on the trailer cross country!)
Anything can fail, naturally. But there’s some good engineering under the skin with these trucks.

    2. swapped out PS fluid $6
    3. sparks $25
    4. engine & cab filter $40
    5. rad fluid 2 gallons $40

I'm glad you started this thread. My taco sits all week now while I'm out working so I can start a project and not finish and it'll be fine. Your helping me with my list too.

Ecgs bushing and seal for the front diff. It's leaking.
    Front diff oil change
Trans and transfer case oil change
    Rear diff oil change

I have a lot of crap from the field blocking the radiator and it gets hot when I sit and idle. May do the aluminum radiator swap in the end though.

I need to do the diffs and transfer case again... drained/filled with Mobil 1 at 50k

Changed plugs at 50k. Stock denso used... those need to be replaced again too

Just ordered the OEM Toyota serpentine. Hoping the tensioner are alright... it’s a little noisy but I can’t tell if it’s just the belt.

New front stoptech rotors/pads at around 125k, those are good

I’ve got brand new drums/shoes/hardware (also stoptech)
Probably not necessary but like I said- I decided I’m in for the long haul.

Fresh set of BFG KO3’s about 40k ago... good for another year and a half. Got 100k out of my DuraTracs so hopefully these are similar (wish I would have gotten another set of the wranglers)

Fresh coil overs from Fat Bobs, freedom off-road UCA’s and a new (used) pair of OEM LCA’s with all new alignment cams sitting on the garage floor waiting to be installed. Well, the coil overs already are but the bushings are seized in the LCA’s and it can’t be aligned. So I figured why not correct the caster with some UCA’s while it’s apart?

I just ordered a fresh pair of Hella 80/100w bulbs (my last pair are going on 18mo of use) so I’ll replace them as preventive maint. Amazon- $5 each! They last longer than any high wattage bulb I’ve tried at any price. (I’ve got a rallylights stand alone wiring harness that allow me to run the 80/100’s)

I’ve had the TRD air filter in there since new (K&N) I usually clean/oil it once a year. It’s due...

Gonna leave the trans alone. Fluid isn’t burnt at all. My experience says leave it alone.

What else is there? Pretty sure all the major stuff has been addressed. I changed out the brake fluid once as well, probably due for it again. Checked the filter on the secondary air injection pump, it’s fine.

Hopefully I’m ready for another 170k!

I probably should do my serpentine as well. Looks like your good to go for a while now.
