I was wondering if any of you guys had a setup for hoisting your bed rack and rtt off for storage inside a garage. I'd prefer it if I can make something from scratch. If not; does anyone have a reputable company they recommend for storing such a setup inside a garage? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I'm hoping to store my bed rack AND a rtt at the same time but at this time I do not have a rtt

Pretty easy to make your own if you go that route. I am lucky enough to have enough height to do it which is where most run into a problem. I just use two blocks forward and rear supported by through bolts through the beams and metal straps to attach the blocks. Used 5/16” plastic coated aircraft cable run to a third double block near the rear wall. The cables run down to a boat trailer wench. Mine is just manual wench is fine for me but a few more bucks and some wiring you could do electric of course. I use 3” nylon webbing with sewn loops on each end long enough to go entirely under the width of whatever I am lifting and up to a shackle to the aircraft cable. Crank to height and it hangs. For my purposes I prefer just two drops because it is more flexible (camper shell, Jeep hard top, aluminum Jon boat, canoe, etc.) but you can always drop four one for each corner if you wanted to make it dedicated to one thing. I find mine works for lots of stuff. Even ice chests full of deer meat out of the bed, etc. whole thing cost me maybe $100 to put together. Wouldn’t be without one myself.

Amazon used to sell a cheap hoist. Was like $150 at that time. Used a cordless drill for operation
