Does anyone here make a light weight jerry can holder that fits into the trailer hitch. Does not have to hold spare tire, but needs to be able to not extend out very far on the back and preferable keep center of gravity low.

    Something like this

Looks like you are going to be into some custom work to achieve this.

Bolted or welded to this [IMG]

Don't forget to keep your license plate visible...

I wouldn't carry gasoline in that location anywhere a visible license plate is necessary. That could ruin your whole afternoon if you got rear-ended.

The only time I would have it most of the time would be off road, and almost all carry it on the back, just need to close to the body and high so that when going across dipity doos I don't hit the tail

and it would ruin your day if you got tboned, or in a head on collision, or choke on something, or have a hart attack, or get a splinter or or or or or.

hundreds of people carry fuel this way, thousands and thousands of cars have rear fuel tanks.

Agreed. I figure it's ok if they hit me with gas back there. It might be better than going to jail for life cause would be up on murder charges
