    I’m getting my Tacoma Limited, 18” stock wheels and tires in about a month. Can someone please give me a measurement from the ground to a specific spot on the hitch receiver? I’d like to compare it to my current vehicle. I’d like to get the correct “dropped” drawbar before my new truck gets here. Thank you.

    You really need to measure the hitch height of the trailer your going to tow first. You can then record the difference of your trucks hitch vs the trailer, and get your correct hitch drop if needed. I tow a boat trailer, and utility trailer different times that both have roughly the same hitch heights. I needed a 2'' receiver drop.

    Approximately 14" from the ground up to the BOTTOM of the receiver opening on my '21 TRD OR.

    I just measured my 2021 Limited w/18" wheels, stock suspension. I've got 16" from the ground to the bottom of the receiver opening.

    Pretty sure my 2020 sr5 with the stock 16'' tires was that.

    @Tjack1957:
    That was measured on a gravel driveway and NOT on a flat paved area. I also have a Lee cap on it that probably lowered it a bit.

    Normally trailer coupler height is around 17 inches, from the ground to the bottom of the coupler, and most hitch manufacturers design their hitches to work with a ball mount that will end up very close to this measurement

    I've had no issues... I usually purchase all of my recovery/trailering gear/cargo racks there. Fast shipping and good prices from what I've experienced.

    Bought chains from them about a month ago. Fast shipping and no issues. Nice packaging as well. Fairly informative guide for picking specific items that will be compatible with your specific needs.
