Can these be installed in both low beams and fog lights?

I can’t speak to the fogs, but I run them in my lows and high beams. I’m happy with them.

Installing these in fogs will cause excessive glare to oncoming traffic. As per lows and highs. You can install them but they still don’t live up to a performance halogen bulb cause our OEM housing isn’t designed for LEDs. So distance and light throw take a hit. Excessive foreground light gives the illusion that the LEDs are brighter and better.

And you can say that a MILLION times and it won't sink in. Just like linking the @crashnburn80 thread, it just doesn't sink in. People look over the hood and see the brightness and think it is awesome and better, and we all now the truth IT ISN'T.

Performance halogens will perform better, but if really wanting a replacement LED those are the best I've tested so far.

These are an improvement over stock. Not as good as some of the halogen options, but if you are looking for an LED, these are the ones that are recommended in the very thread everyone likes to link to.... As per crash himself:
Edit: just referring to low beams. As I said earlier, I have no idea about fogs.

Read my post again. Where did I say stock was better. Our stock OEM headlight assembly isn’t designed for LED which is fact. These do not out preform the recommended halogen bulbs, again it’s fact. You reference the thread and say these are recommended as the only LEDs crash recommends which is true but also says they are out preformed by the halogen bulb that’s recommend.

But agreed if people want to go this route, then that price is hard to beat.

I have not, but I'd suggest following the 3rd Gen headlight thread over here for the latest info:

Yeah, they are out performed by performance halogens (as I said while we are in the subject of reading things) These do not cause “excessive foreground light” (see, I did read) and do work in our stock headlight assembly. So if you are looking for an LED upgrade, these are the way to go. Sure, the philips H9 out perform them by about 14-15%, but at the cost of a 250 hour rating. Not to mention with degradation, that 15% isn’t going to be for that whole 250 hours. Depending on your drive, that 250 hours can come real fast (for me, it’s about 2 months standard time). The Hikari have lasted me over a year so far, so I think it’s money well spent. Funny thing about something being the best as a fact, it is still subjective. For total light output, yes. For people that don’t like changing headlights 2-3 a year, no.

FINALLY A LINK THAT ACTUALLY WORKED (not currently on sale tho) But before I buy, couple questions.

Is there nothing additional I need to install? and this is a pair correct?

You need to know they dont perform that well. They have a weird beam pattern that just doesnt travel very far.
Here you can see the pattern in my headlight lens dust.

But if you are going to get them, you will want to get some dialectical grease, put it all around the base as they leak water around the rotating base of the bulb. Otherwise they are plug and play.

I have these in my low and high beams for 1.5 years now.
    They are a pair.
Plug and play, nothing else to do to fit.

Personally I really like them. Been through harsh Canadian winter (-50c in december!) and now sweltering summer and have had 0 issues.
For the price, they have exceeded my expectations.

Will opt for OEM LED headlights when I can afford it.

EDIT: just make sure you have them in the correct position when you install them into your housing or they will perform horribly.

You can find them easily on Amazon.

Plug and play. The only issue you will have is fitting the housing; just find a good angle iirc
