    Hi everyone,
I recently purchased a 2020 Toyota Tacoma Double Cab 4x4 Off-Road V6 LB and it came with a stock Bilstein suspension system. This is my first truck so I dont know much about how lifting the truck works and what parts I need to buy so I was looking for advice.

I heard that King suspensions are the best followed by Fox suspensions. I want to use my truck as a daily driver and for outdoor activities (camping, fishing, hunting) I also plan on putting a camper shell on it and some rock sliders to protect the sides of the truck after covid-19 is over.

So my question is: what is the highest lift that you can put on a 2020 Toyota Tacoma Double Cab 4x4 Off-Road V6 LB without cutting? and what parts would I need to buy to lift it up?

    thank you

There's also Radflo. Not really big with Tacoma's but heard nothing but good things about them from Hill Assult Buggy and Rock Bouncer guys. I ordered some the other day and they are custom tuning it for me specifically for my truck. Heard some jeep guys say they like them as much as Kings as well and it's a bit cheaper (not much, probably like $300 cheaper).

    stock!
You got a brand new offroad. Its your first truck. Before you do anything, just give stock a shot and see how it handles your activities. If you encounter sketchy paths while offroad, go get some sliders and skids. If clearance becomes an issue, then look into lifting. Let your needs guide your mods, and not what everyone is doing.

Sounds like solid advice, I havent really gotten to drive the truck much with the lockdown in place right now due to covid-19. It would be nice however to have a higher lift thats why I was posting asking about what the highest lift is that I can get for my truck without having to do cutting. I dont plan on changing the suspension anytime soon since its a new truck and it would be a waste to buy a new truck and replace the existing suspension system right away without using it but just so I could know more about trucks and how lifting works since most YouTube videos just show off the gear but they dont tell you how to build a truck like that.

Wow id hate to see the price tag on Icons lol, Kings are already pretty expensive.

    stock!
People cut to allow more room for oversized tires. The lift itself doesn't necessitate a cut.

Old Man Emu and call it a day. $1400 CAD for a full kit including coils, shocks, and leafs. Usually 2-3". Pair it with 265/75R16s for a spacious fit or go with 255/85R16s (33s) for more ground clearance without needing to cut like 285/75s will require.

To add onto this you can also, obviously, get different spring rates for the coils and leafs. I don't know part numbers but I know you can do light, medium, and heavy duty springs to fit your application. If I call correctly ARB lists their uses per spring as bumpers, winch, etc etc to get an idea of what kinda weight they're suited to.

Based on your principal question.. there is no answer to your question until you provide more specifics. Are you keeping the factory tires and wheels? what do you plan on towing or carrying on the truck?(how much weight?) if everything stays stock besides your suspension i've read 2-3 inches is a standard height that won't require any cutting but there will be modifications.. i know for sure once you get to 6 inches some parts of the truck will need to be cut/modded to fit (talking BDS-FOX 6 inch from the research i've done)

I'd have to agree with @whatstcp use it first and depending on how it handles you'll be able to tell what your needs are.. these trucks aren't the most capable like other 4x4s but they're pretty fun
