I just hit 281K this week can one top that? If you take care of these trucks properly they are bulletproof!

I just picked up a toco with 205k miles. I am curious how much longer they last.

Last as long as you don't fall thru the floor pan from rust and as long as you replace things that need replacing when they need it. I figure with TLC another 300K.

174k, not nearly as high as some of you, put some new plugs in still running like a champ

Tacoma is stock and staying that way, Pickup is TBA as of now.
Highest mileage first gen I've seen here was a 2003 double cab TRD 4wd with 625k original miles. Guy owned it since new.

My double cab only has 89k so she's young yet!

My 97 says 293k on the clock but there was a couple year stretch the Speedo cable was broke so she's probably actually into the 300s. By the condition when I got it 10kish ago she didn't get much love. Its been a money pit to get the suspension and steering road worthy again but its ran like a champ since I got it.

Just bought this yesterday from a gentleman who bought it with 15k on it. I bought it with 317k on it. Only reason I did is how super clean it was. No rust at all on body except some on the steel bumpers. Frame and underneath super clean and bone dry. Only thing you could tell was used on the interior was the drivers seat. Carpet doesn't even have any stains or real wear. Paid 5,500. Think it was a good buy? What do you think I could get for it in six months?

but I am cheating, just put in a 2001 2.7 motor with 105,000 that came out of a crash after mine blew a head gasket and hydrolocked, didnt want to risk a stresed rod , it didnt leave me stranded though , made it home on its own power blowing steam out the tail

253,660 today. bought it a year ago from a dealer at ~250. did some minor rust cleanup, high miles royal purple synth oil, brakes. valve cover gaskets and crank case gaskets are happening in the coming days. aside from that, running well. approximated ~24 mpg, interstate and mountain driving in Colorado
