For the first time owning this truck I had a couple of rough starts while out and about a couple days ago. The starter turned for twice as long as normal, then once the engine started it had a rough idle for a few seconds but smoothed out. This happened for four or five starts. It didn't post an messages on the dash and driving was normal, no hesitation or detonation. The following day I took it to the dealership to get it checked out under warranty and of course the starts en route to the dealership were normal. The dealer tells me that they ran diagnostics and couldn't find anything.

The only other variable is that we've had record rainfall the last few days and have been through more puddles than normal - but nothing like some owners do with their trucks crossing creeks and other off-road adventures. Just like anyone else, I enjoy a reliable vehicle so I'd like to identify the issue and prevent it before it happens again and or worse - doesn't start. Has anyone else had this happen?

    2018 Limited DCSB w/ 16k miles.

    Did you recently full up?
If it's normal now, I'd run the gas out of it and fill up again, hoping for bad gas.
My guess is, it'll be okay.

Is your truck one of the ones recalled for LP fuel pump?

I thought about that too, but it I had a couple of those starts on the previous tank of gas, and topped off around 1/2 tank because I was near a less expensive station.

Could be, I'm researching that now, but I'd be a little pissed if that wasn't addressed during any of my trips to the dealer for scheduled maintenance.
