Heritage Partial Wrap Design

Hello!

I am working with an auto wrap company on a design to apply the heritage stripes to my 2018 TRD Pro. I narrowed it down to a couple options and wanted to see what you all thought:

Option 1:


Option 2 (Change the TOYOTA Bed Decal to White):



Bonus Hood Design:

 

I think option 1, with the bonus hood wrap would look great.

 

I dig em both, but also leaning towards 1. These look good, really similar to the GOAT armor offering: Toyota Stripes Series - Toyota Tacoma Gen3 (2016+) | GOAT - Go Offroad Armor Tech (goat-truckarmor.com)

I second this. To be honest I'm not a fan of any of the retro stripe decals, because they all look half assed, like an afterthought. The only ones I tend to lean towards liking are the ones that look like the entire truck is wrapped. So something like option 1, red all the way back, red tailgate, red roof, and hood option; then, I think it'd look pretty good.

 

Red roof would be the extra mile that sets this wrap apart from the rest of the crowd.

 

A lot of $$ for something that’ll get old fast… looks cool on the racing trucks though.

I like where #1 starts and #2 ends - Maybe basically "widen" #1 to get it closer to a mix. Ivan Stewart style

 

Ivan Stewart style full wrap is the only acceptable solution for me. Stripes look dumb and out of place without brand sponsors everywhere and a big TOYOTA on the sides:

 

I think #1 with the red going all the way back to the tailgate would look killer.

 

Where did you find pics of that truck? I like it

 

Why not put a large TOYOTA in black on the front doors? It completes the look.

 

I just googled "tacoma race truck" Idk if it actually exists somewhere or if it was just a rendering, but google toyota baja truck, race truck, retro stripes, heritage wrap, etc and you'll probably find many similar.

 

^^^This right here^^^ Also, I’d cover the whole center section of the hood rather than have it come to a point.

 

I'm in the boat of option 1 with extended red to tails and a red roof. If you're already going this far in, why not go ALL the way in?

Maybe OP can show the Option 1+extended red tails around town to local small businesses and sell ad/logo placements on his truck just as if he was racing?

 

Thank you for all the input! I may tweak the design some more to bring the red to the back. Also the red roof looks pretty sweet as well.
