Hey everyone! Just got my 2023 Tacoma OR a couple months ago and have been slowly adding things to my rig. Just mounted an Ironman 4x4 earlier today and was excited to mount the Kickass Shower Awning and realized that the distance between the crossbars is wider than the awning itself.

Any ideas on how I can go about mounting this? Any bars I can run on an OEM roof rack in the middle? Currently have my Ironman Awning mounted with the Yakima Mighty Mounts. Found a similar setup on someone else's Tacoma while snooping around online and it works great.

Any help is appreciated. thank you!

That's a horrible idea. What time?
Welcome to the Taco life and forum!

Before you do too much more, how do you plan to use the truck? What else do you want to put on it? I had a general idea of what I wanted to do before I bought mine and was able to save and pay cash for most of what I did. I did make a few unnecessary purchases and ask you so that you don't do the same thing. If you plan to add more to the roof, then maybe think about a roof rack. I did that and sold my factory rack for $300, just under half of what my roof rack cost.

Build link (mostly current) below. PM me if you have any questions about it.
