I installed Icon tubular UCAs with Delta joints.

Is there supposed to be space on the taper pin?

Seems like a stupid question, I feel the nut should tighten up all the way and the instruction say 75# torque. But the taper pin just keeps rotating the ball joint preventing the nut to tighten.

Hope this is the right place, please move if not mods

Space between the spindle and balljoint is fine, see below. If the nut is spinning, you need to put an allen wrench on the end of the stud to prevent it from spinning.... torque accordingly.

Alternatively, put a prybar between the coils on the coilover, and push downward on the UCA. The pressure will keep the BJ from spinning while you tighten it.
