Tomorrow I plan to start installing Fuse block, circuit breaker, fuse panel, air compressor and tank. I'm having a hard time deciding where to mount the compressor and tank. I like things to look clean and stock as possible when it comes to add on accessories. I've seen people install the compressor in the small storage bin in the bed. They usually have a custom box for that area which I don't have, but will purchase if I go that route. Also, I absolutely hate drilling so I'll try to use stock holes or create brackets, etc. Does anyone have any ideas on good places for the compressor and tank. I also want it to be accessible for a quick connect fitting and for easy draining of the tank. So far I have the horns mounted using stock holes. I had to bend the radiator line (I think temp/pressure) to fit the horns. The horns don't rattle but I still want to create a brace to hold TIGHT. Any ideas, comments, questions, concerns are all welcome. Thank you ahead of time! Pictures with descriptions below.

Ikr , Ive only ever seen airhorns abused.

OP, not sure on the tank, most people place it where the spare tire is but im sure you dont want to lose that

I like the idea of air horns. Loud ones!
Behind a lost in space woman holding the phone checking the facebook likes that forgot to move at the green traffic light...pull the cord...Voooooooooooommmmm...watch her ass take off like a rocket...priceless.
Better if installed on a Prius.

You could've just gotten a whole kit from hornblasters, comes with horns, compressor, tank, hardware, and a bracket to mount EVERYTHING to. Bracket takes the place of the spare tire though. But there's literally no drilling, cutting, or anything

I saw a guy in a chebby on Main St. here in town a couple days ago that had bad ass guard dogs barking over some sort of speaker. Sounded like the dogs were right in the bed of the truck with the sound bouncing off the buildings.

    2 reasons
    1. I'm young and dumb (26 years old)
    2. I work downtown Chicago. That should be enough of a reason without explanation. People are extremely selfish drivers, blocking 2 lanes, not paying attention/texting, near miss accidents, etc. They deserve to get blasted. I'll keep my factory horn as well. The air horns will have a separate switch.

I considered it the kit, they even sell the bracket/mount by itself. Obviously, I didn't go that route. It is a nice kit, and I might end up doing that for the tank and compressor but I like the horns where they are, in the grille.

Subbed for the story of the bullet hole you got when you blasted the hood rats and they all ran and one of them put a hole in your bedside while running and shooting... and the other 15 in the blacktop or a brick wall

Reminded me of the 1980's when people had the Dukes of Hazard's General Lee horns on their rides. lol.
