    HELP!
Has any found a close colour to E07 in a vinyl wrap?
I know www.colorxlabs.com will have it but a high price.
I want to wrap my chrome rear bumper.

I am close of ordering a random metallic silver wrap to see if the colour is close. Something like below. It's VViViD Silver Metallic DECO65 (12 Inch x 84 Inch).

is it possible for them to send you a sample? I cant imagine a small bit would cost more than a stamp to ship.

I painted my grille surround with that stuff. Worked well but I want to wrap the bumper.

Thanks! I'll see if a shop in town has it in stock so I can compare the colour.
Have you used that material before?

That roll I posted is only CAD$12 haha
I am worried if the colour doesn't match that they won't take it back.

Yes I used it on my 06. I bought my truck with a dent in the hood. I put bondo on it and had it installed. Sadly I don’t have any pictures of it on my phone and have since removed the hood. Definitely swing by a shop and take a look at it. I was pleased with it

Do not use whatever you stated on the original comment! You will hate it and it will look like shit if you’ve never wrapped! Get 3m or Avery nothing else

Ok windshield brow is different than a bumper brother. But still for longevity and the contours of the rear bumper you don’t want to be cheap. In reality if you do it right the first time 3’x5’ piece of 3m 1080 you can cut in half Long ways and seam the bumper behind the license plate. in return it will be more user friendly than any vivid you will touch. Avery is even better for DIY. You can order rolls and samples from metrorestyling.com. I’m both Avery and 3m certified installer :)

    The 3m part number
Found on ebay from metrorestyling's store.

Oh big difference between bumper and windshield brow for sure! Just so happened that I was thinking about doing it and this thread popped up with the exact part number i needed lol.

I sure did! Came out pretty good. The 3m silver is just a SMIDGE darker than the stock, im talking HARDLY noticeable. I cut a straight edge, laid it down on the AS1 line (which i measured down and put a piece of tape on the other side) so it ran straight across (after cleaning the windshield of course), went down dry pushed all the air out and cut off the excess on top and sides. In hindsight, i should of cut a strip the 5 n 3/8ths that the as1 line is down parallel to keep the same contour of the top of the windshield so id only have to trim off the sides and i could of gotten a little more sun shading at the center of the windshield. I probably still have enough material to do this, but for now, gonna keep the straight across.

Anyways, the 3m product, SUPER easy to work with even for my first time, color is about as damn good as you can get a metallic silver to match.
