So I installed a leveling kit and tightened everything down to what I thought was tight enough... it wasn't. The sway bar link on the drivers side came loose and tore into the cv boot (or at least I think that's what it is). I'm stuck in durango on mlk weekend and am not really sure how to fix this. So my questions are 1 is it the cv boot that actually is torn in the picture. 2 Is driving back 212 miles back home dumb and I shouldn't attempt it. 3. Autozone has a universal boot in Stock and I could get that to replace it, but is that a good idea that it's not specific for a tacoma. Thanks everyone.

You can't get a fix? Only places closed here for MLK are banks.

    Sorry man, it sux.

That is the CV boot. Looks like the point of it is keeping the CV clean & keeping lubricant on it.

If I couldn't get parts to fix or find a shop and needed to get home I'd sure put a bandaid on it (duct tape or something zip tied in place) & drive it home. I'd avoid as much contamination as I could.

Cool, thanks guys. I appreciate the help. I think I freaked out a little quick before being able to research it properly. Thanks again for all your help.

    Reserected from the dead.
Just drive it. I drove my last Tacoma 275000 miles with a torn boot. I intend to drive it to failure, then replace it. It never broke.
