try blitzpro light bars alot of people on here have them on here, including myself and mine is a 32 inch double row for right under 300, was going to mount it in the same spot but its a little bigger than the dimensions needed. the single row would fit just fine

As a broke college student I understand not wanting to spend thousands but still have a sweet looking truck! I would say definitely a lift but not too much unless you want giant beefy tires. I like the murdered out look for black Tacos. Mine is almost exactly like your and 05 Prerunner SR5 Auto. This is what I did with minimal cost!

    Completely Stock:
    image (6).jpg

I then decided to buy a 3" front spacer lift with 2" rear Add-A-Leaf (AAL) from Fat Bob's Garage for pretty cheap - $150: http://4x4.fatbobsgarage.com/toyota...add-a-leafs-4wd2wd-2005-2013-6-lug-p2147.aspx

3" Lift Installed with 285/70/R17 Tires:

The thing about the lift though is that the rear AAL stiffens the rear suspension and give a rough ride so you would need to replace the rear shocks for about $80: http://www.4wheelparts.com/Lift-Kit...er.aspx?t_c=1&t_s=90&t_pt=3306&t_pn=EXP322518

The wheels and tires I got from Discount Tire for $1400 with up to a year financing. Not a bad deal considering 0% interest.

I also bought a DeeZee Bull Bar all black for about $150: http://www.amazon.com/Dee-Zee-DZ501...04244&sr=1-2&keywords=dee+zee+bull+bar+tacoma

    image (4).jpg

All of that alone will make your truck look 1000 times better! Nice aggressive stance but not over the top. The finished product with just the products mentioned above would look like this:

Then you can decide to get crazy like I did and upgrade to a 6" lift, new muffler, black out emblems and headlights etc. etc.

I know a really long post but I hope this helps! Good Luck!!:)

Not to sound lame or anything, but your truck should be an expression of you, and what you want it to look like, not all of us!!

If I put Bilstien 5100 shocks all the way around, and wanted more lift in the front, could I use spacers? or would I need to get new coils?

you could go with 5100's(.85) and eibachs, may need to check your rear leaf pack(2+overload or3+overload)if you go too high in the front with the "2+" you'll be stinkbug high in the front, the set-up i mentioned may level you if you have "3+ overload, which is considered tsb",the safest way to go may be 5100's and eibachs set at zero(first clip) since the eibachs will give you a bit more lift than the 1.6in they advertise(maybe slightly less than a full 2in)if your truck is mainly a daily driver,i wouldn't get too crazy with the lift aspect...look around the site for some "factory alloys" and derp them black...for the record,i'm on 5100's all around set @.85 on factory springs, tsb leaf pack, nitto 265-65-17's on procomp 17x8 in(4.5bs) wheels...no rub, rides great!

I used the spacers for a while with the 5100's also. You can't stack the spacers with the ride height adjustable it just won't work. Instead of spacers you could use the 5100 ride height adjustable instead. It will just cost a little bit more because I think you might have to buy the rear lift separate.

The wheels are MB Wheels Kronk from discount tire. They are 17" and fit on my 285/70/R17 Falken Rocky Mountain ATS tires. The wheels can be found here: http://www.discounttire.com/dtcs/fi...=MBMKRK&yr=2005&pc=16318&wd=17&rw=&vid=008926

Also about the tires I don't think the 265 will look bad and would be better for the lift I showed you. I went up to the 285 with the spacer lift and had minor rubbing problems on sharp turns. But I don't think the 265 will rub. I like the 285 though because they stick out just slightly about an inch if you like that look.
