Have a set of Toyo AT IIs on my wife’s T4R, have noticed some dry rot in between the treads and now I’ve seen some dry rot on the sidewall too. I’m thinking they are time to be replaced?

They don’t seem to have the same markings as my much newer Toyos, the last four of the number on the DOT code being the week and year of production.

Any idea how old they are based on these markings?

Need the DOT number from the other side of the tire. Missing 4 digits.

Also, looks like some sidewall splitting in the last pic. I wouldn't run anything that looks like that.

F the date. Cracking sidewalls = time for new tires. It's not some junker 72 Ford farm truck that only goes 5mph hauling hay.

The missing 4 digits...first two numbers are the week number of the year it was made. Last two numbers are the year it was made. Ex: 0218. Second week of January 2018

Are there no numbers after the CX70? Can you check both sides? All tires after 2000 should have the 4 digit date code...1st 2 numbers are the week, 2nd 2 numbers the year

Yeah I agree. No more highway miles until I get these replaced. Just was curious about the age.
