Help identify this hose

Toyota no help. Need to replace cracked hose on 2006 Toyota Tacoma v6. 4.0 liter. Hose comes off the front of air cleaner then goes underneath to a metal valve on top of valve cover. It is about 5/8” diameter maybe and hooks at on end. Anyone know what it is?

PCV hose

Toyota might call it a crankcase breather hose

 

Here’s a pic of where it’s located. Sorry it’s bad quality. I’ve already removed mine so this is a pic I found online but it wasn’t identified

 

Pcv is at back of other side of the engine.

 

Pcv system always has 2 hoses though. One goes valve cover to intake manifold, one goes valve cover to air cleaner housing

 

Post this in 2nd gen section and someone will come along with a part #

 

I had to unbolt the air cleaner and remove it to get to this hose. If you stand at front of truck looking into engine, hose starts left of throttle body and runs across a little then goes under air cleaner and the curved end is on a metal valve coming out of top of valve cover. Toyota hasn’t been able to find it. Sent me 4 diagrams and it’s not in any

 

I was wondering if it was the pcv in hose but I haven’t been able to find that online anywhere

12262 in the picture.
12262 goes from passenger side valve cover to intake pipe.
12261 goes from driver side valve cover to plenum.

Might be a good idea to go ahead and replace both.

 

Right part numbers for a 4.0L 1GR-FE but just in case anyone is looking at this later, the diagram is not of a 1GR-FE engine.
