Hey everyone, I did the Subaru tweeter upgrade ether other day but my driver said A Pillar trim has been rattling ever since. I can't seem to get the trim to sit properly and it's driving me crazy. The upper portions seem to click in right, but it is very misaligned down by the tweeter grille on the dash. None of the tabs are broken. Located in central NJ if anyone is willing to help. Thanks!

I did the same recently. Both of my pillar covers went back pretty in straight-forward. But, the passenger side rattle was still there! You need to put some velcro tape (soft side) between the speaker cover and A pillar cover.

My issue is that I can't even get it to clip in all the way! Passenger side went in perfectly, not sure why the driver side won't. I also noticed that the piece was slightly warped from the factory, I can see the airbag peeking out from behind it slightly.

Hmm... I don't know. Maybe just take a good look at the clips/tabs and try to slide it in there gently while wiggling it a little? Good luck.

Just crane your neck down into the corner and make sure all the tabs are in their correct places. Took me a couple of tries, too.

It's also easier to do when the temps are warmer...

Yup. Just keep fussing with it. Start with the trouble end and don't worry about the rest until it's seated properly. Just did this last weekend.

So it's definitely not just me I'm guessing. Gonna stop by at the dealer and see if they can have a tech just pop it in real quick, if not I'll keep fiddling with it myself.

Just take a step back and look at it. It should go in without a fuss. Something isn't lined up properly.

I had a little trouble with the B pillar but realized i was bending a tab when reinstalling... noticed the issue and reinstalled it correctly. Look at where the tabs go. Its not worth a dealer visit.

I have had mine off 7 or 8 times recently (testing tweeters and what not), take it out, and put it back in tabs first. If you need to, give it a little twist to the right as you are seating the tabs as the one closest to the window is a bit "right". The tabs will seat, then line up the top and put the bolt back through.

I am in South Brunswick, stopped by the dealership and they popped it back in properly at no cost to me.

I may need help doing the passenger side again though. I have to replace the tweeter grille.
